In the first year of Huangchu, Cao Pi ascended the throne in Luoyang and was known as Emperor Wen of Wei in history. Emperor Xian of the Han Dynasty presented Guo and Li as concubines. The two concubines were favored, but Empress Zhen was frustrated and complained. Cao Pi was furious and sent someone in June of the second year of Huangchu. Empress Zhen was given death and buried in Yecheng. After Wei Ming Emperor Cao Rui ascended the throne, he posthumously named her Queen Wenzhao.

貂蟬，東漢末年司徒王允府的歌女。時董卓禍亂京城，王允於是設下連環計：先把貂蟬暗地裏許給呂布，再明獻於董卓。呂布對董卓收貂蟬入府為姬心懷不滿。一日，呂布乘董卓上朝時，入董卓府探貂蟬，並邀鳳儀亭相會，貂蟬見呂布，假意哭訴被董卓霸佔之苦，呂布憤怒。這時董卓回府撞見，怒而搶過呂布的方天畫戟，直刺呂布，呂布閃身逃走，從此兩人互相猜忌，王允趁機説服呂布，剷除了董卓。後人謂此曰：“司徒妙算託紅裙，不用幹戈不用兵。三戰虎牢徒費力，凱歌卻奏鳳儀亭。”
