玉簪花別名玉春棒、白鶴花、玉泡花、白玉簪,是一種多年生草本植物,原產中國和日本。 它所代表的意境跟蓮花比較相似,高雅純潔,超凡脫俗。

Hosta, also known as jade spring stick, white crane flower, jade bubble flower and white hosta, is a perennial herb native to China and Japan. The artistic conception it represents is similar to that of the lotus, which is elegant, pure, and otherworldly.

7月花神–玉簪花花神
玉簪花其花獨特,色白如玉。玉簪花晶瑩潔凈,豐潤光澤,為管狀漏斗形,狀似玉簪,百花中尚不多見。其香濃郁,清芬四溢。王安石的《玉簪》詩云:“萬斛濃香山麝馥,隨吹落葉到君家”。詩人描繪玉簪開放時散發的香氣如麝香一樣濃郁,清風陣陣,香氣越飄越遠。
漢武帝寵李夫人,取玉簪搔頭,後宮人皆效之,玉簪花之名取此。因為她的美麗及她平時常插一朵玉簪花於鬢旁。後人把她尊為玉簪花花神。

Flower Goddess of July – Hosta Flower Goddess
The flowers of hosta are unique and white as jade. Hosta flowers are crystal clear, rich and shiny, tubular and funnel-shaped, resembling hostas, and are rare among flowers. Its fragrance is rich and overflowing with fragrance. Wang Anshi’s poem “Jade Hosta” goes: “Thousands of dendrobiums are fragrant with the fragrance of mountain musk deer, and the fallen leaves are blown to your home.” The poet describes the fragrance that the hosta exudes when it opens, as strong as musk. The breeze blows and the fragrance floats farther and farther.
Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty doted on Mrs. Li and used a jade hairpin to scratch her head. Everyone in the harem did this, and the hosta flower was named after this. Because of her beauty and she usually puts a hosta flower on her temples. Later generations revered her as the goddess of hostas and flowers.
